The Day in the Park was sponsored by the Greenville Sesquecentennial Committee. Thanks to all who
made it possible and all the exhibitors and visitors. The Greenville Resource Center sold many books and passed out flyers to those who visited the tent to raise awareness on the Minisink Valley's only lending "library".

The NYS Police had exhibits of their new cruiser and
also a drunken driver crash simulator to raise awareness of the consequences of drinking and driving.Which car do you vote for?

CUB SCOUTS PACK 54 SLATE HILL NY DONATION PRESENTATION AND RESOURCE CENTER TOUR
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 12 2014
The Slate Hill Cubscout Pack 54 considers the month of November "Give back to the Community " Month. Last November (2013) they held a bake-sale, then voted to give the earnings of the bake sale to the Greenville Resource Center.Susan Shapiro and Mary Hossann,members of the GRC Board of Directors are shown below receiving the donation of 500 dollars from one of the Scouts.The Cubscouts were then given a tour of the facilities and enjoyed their regular meeting on this evening as well.
The Cubmaster of Pack 54 is John Pelfrey and
the Committee Chair is Phil Whitbeck.

here was food...music...dancing...drumming...lots of vendors...and BOOKS from the Greenville Resource Center! Robert ,Sue,Johanna
and others from the GRC got up bright and early and caravaned to
Port Jervis to setup the GRC booth at the Fall Foliage Fest. THe GRC did well with over 400 dollars collected in book sales-thank you all for your support!
